Fucking Awesome Deck Louie Lopez Spider (8.25) delivers a clean, powerful statement from one of skateboarding’s most respected technicians. Built on FA’s Shape #2, this 8.25" x 31.79" traditional popsicle features a 14.12" wheelbase with a slightly more relaxed concave and rounded nose and tail, giving it that balanced, responsive feel whether you’re locking into ledges or flowing through transition. It’s the kind of shape that feels right under your feet from the first push—stable on gaps, quick on flip tricks, and smooth in the bowl.
The top veneer comes in a deep ocean blue stain, showcasing natural wood grain patterns that run vertically from nose to tail. Centered across the midsection is Louie’s handwritten “Louie” graphic in raw black script, with the subtle Fucking Awesome branding beneath it. The minimalist top graphic keeps it clean—perfect for grip jobs that let just a hint of personality peek through.
Flip it over and the board transforms into a striking, high-contrast piece. The bottom graphic, painted by Tercer Mundo, features an intense blue face emerging from darkness, one eye sharply focused forward. A vivid metallic pink spider stretches down over the forehead, its legs crawling across the image in bold contrast. The upper and lower sections are embossed with the unmistakable Fucking Awesome texture, adding a tactile element that gives the deck dimension beyond the print itself. It’s aggressive but refined—just like Louie’s skating.
Louie Lopez, born in Hawthorne, California, has long been considered a “skater’s skater.” From his early days coming up in the L.A. scene to turning pro for Flip and later joining FA World Entertainment, Louie built a reputation on technical precision blended with powerful transition control. That versatility shows in this deck—perfectly suited for the mix of crusty ledges in Pasadena, smooth parks in Arcadia, or the fast lines at Garvey. An 8.25" sits right in that sweet spot so many skaters in the San Gabriel Valley gravitate toward—wide enough for confidence, quick enough for technical control.
Whether you’re stacking clips around El Monte, skating the streets of Alhambra, or hitting late sessions closer to Covina, this Louie Lopez Spider deck carries that understated, all-terrain energy he’s known for. Clean top stain, bold bottom art, functional shape—no gimmicks, just timeless FA attitude.
