Foundation Deck Team Asimov (8.5) delivers a bold, high-contrast graphic that feels equal parts science fiction and raw skate energy. The bottom graphic is built around a swirling, storm-like field of black and off-white, creating a sense of motion and tension across the entire deck. Cutting straight through the chaos is a sharp, electric teal lightning bolt that drops into a circular impact point, visually anchoring the top half of the board. From that center, an orange plume erupts upward, dense and cloud-like, finished with a stylized sunburst core that feels explosive without being noisy. The color blocking is deliberate—teal, orange, black, and bone tones—giving the deck a strong visual identity that reads clean from a distance and rewards closer inspection up close.

Sized at 8.50" x 32.38", this deck sits comfortably in that sweet spot for skaters who want stability without sacrificing responsiveness. The 14.50" wheelbase keeps the ride predictable and smooth, while the 7.00" nose and 6.63" tail offer balanced control for confident pop, fast direction changes, and consistent lock-in whether you’re skating transition, curbs, or rougher street spots. Built from traditional 7-ply hardwood maple, it’s pressed to handle daily sessions and hard landings, with assorted color plies making each deck subtly unique.

The “Asimov” name is a clear nod to classic science-forward thinking and big ideas, echoing themes of impact, energy, and cause-and-effect reflected in the artwork itself. As a Foundation Skateboards team model, this deck represents the brand’s long-standing approach—simple shapes, strong graphics, and boards meant to be skated, not just collected. It’s the kind of deck that feels just as at home rolling through neighborhood streets as it does cruising past familiar spots around the SGV.
