The Black Label Deck Team Crutch (8.25) is a tongue-in-cheek tribute to every slam, sprain, and session that pushed a skater just a little too far—but kept the fire lit anyway. With its 8.25” x 32.12” dimensions and a 14.25” wheelbase, this standard cut shape delivers a well-balanced ride that’s at home in the park, on the streets, or in the crusty alleys we love across the SGV. The deck is made with 7-ply hardwood maple laminate, ensuring pop, durability, and just enough forgiveness when you’re nursing a rolled ankle but still can’t resist trying "just one more try." The graphic hits with humor and heart—a crutch re-imagined as a skateboard, reminding us that injuries are temporary, but style (and commitment) is forever.
Black Label, helmed by punk-lifer and industry staple John Lucero, has always been more than just a board company—it’s a mindset. Founded in 1988, the brand has championed skaters who don’t care about trends, follower counts, or contests. Whether you’re bombing a hill in Monrovia, hitting curbs in South Pas, or pushing through downtown Claremont, Black Label decks are built for the ones who ride for the love—not the likes.
Stix SGV has proudly served the San Gabriel Valley skateboarding community since the late ‘90s. With three locations across Los Angeles County, we’ve been deeply rooted in the local scene. Our Monrovia shop has been a staple since 1997, followed by our Claremont location in 2014, and our South Pasadena shop opening its doors in 2022. Our mission has always been simple: to uphold skateboarding culture and stay true to our community.
