Baker Deck Justin Figgy Figueroa Block Busters (8.475) taps directly into the chaotic energy Baker has built its reputation on for decades, blending classic skateboarding attitude with a heavy dose of cult movie nostalgia. The graphic references the legendary spider scene from Home Alone, where Marv completely loses it after Kevin drops a tarantula onto his face. Baker flips that iconic moment into something darker and grimier, stretching the image into a painted cinematic portrait that feels straight out of a warped VHS tape found at an old video rental shop.
The central artwork captures the wild-eyed scream with intense detail — exaggerated facial expression, distorted perspective, and the spider planted directly across the eye — all framed against hazy vertical film-strip gradients in muted greens, bronzes, reds, and purples. The visual feels raw and uneasy in the best possible way, which is exactly the lane Baker has always occupied. The graphic was created by Kevin “Spanky” Long, longtime Baker pro and artist whose style consistently blends underground humor, sketchbook chaos, horror references, and classic skate rat aesthetics into something instantly recognizable.
This pro model belongs to Justin “Figgy” Figueroa, one of the most respected heavy terrain skaters of his generation. Raised between Riverside, Moreno Valley, and Irvine, Figgy built his name through pure commitment — charging massive rails, huge drops, and rough landings with zero hesitation. Since turning pro for Baker in 2010 under Andrew Reynolds, he’s become one of the defining faces of the brand through legendary parts in Bake and Destroy, Baker 4, and Emerica’s Stay Gold. Figgy’s skating has always carried that all-gas-no-brakes mentality that feels right at home skating rough SGV street spots from Pasadena to El Monte.
Sized at 8.475” x 31.75” with a responsive 14.0” wheelbase, this board hits a perfect balance between stability and quick control. The slightly wider platform gives enough room for bigger terrain and faster skating while still staying reactive for technical tricks and quick direction changes. The mellow concave keeps the board comfortable underfoot without feeling too steep, while the classic shape delivers a familiar all-around feel whether you’re skating transition, rails, banks, or rough parking lot spots around the San Gabriel Valley.
Pressed by legendary woodshop BBS Manufacturing, the deck uses 100% Hard Rock Canadian Maple construction for long-lasting durability, strong pop, and reliable consistency. BBS boards are trusted across skateboarding for their solid feel and dependable shape retention, making this one built for actual skating — not just wall hanging.
