Violet Skateboards was founded in 2021 by legendary skate filmer William “Bill” Strobeck, the creative eye behind Supreme’s era-defining skate videos like Cherry, BLESSED, and CANDYLAND. Instead of operating like a traditional skate company, Violet is more of a creative collective, bringing together a new generation of skaters from New York, Philly, L.A., and Paris. The brand embodies Strobeck’s vision of skateboarding as raw, inclusive, and style-driven—pushing forward both visually and culturally.

Stix SGV has proudly served the San Gabriel Valley skateboarding community since the late ‘90s. With three locations across Los Angeles County, we’ve been deeply rooted in the local scene. Our Monrovia shop has been a staple since 1997, followed by our Claremont location in 2014, and our South Pasadena shop opening its doors in 2022. Our mission has always been simple: to uphold skateboarding culture and stay true to our community.
