Toy Machine Tee Charred Cross S/S (Black) brings Ed Templeton’s unmistakable artwork from the board to the shirt. The front keeps it minimal with a small “Toy Machine” type hit at the left chest, while the back unleashes the full Charred Cross graphic—Templeton’s robed figure bound to a wooden cross, engulfed in bright, licking flames with crisp linework and bold color fills that pop off the jet-black cotton. Born in 1993, Toy Machine (Templeton’s “Bloodsucking Skateboard Company”) carved out its lane with raw skateboarding and outsider art—think classic videos like Welcome to Hell, Good & Evil, and Suffer the Joy. This tee taps that same history: tongue-in-cheek, a little dark, and built for sessions that go from curbs to rails across the SGV.

Our Monrovia shop has been a staple since 1997, followed by our Claremont location in 2014, and our South Pasadena shop opening its doors in 2022.
