Slime Balls Wheels Natas Kaupas Reissues Hardline White (54mm/95a)

A true slice of skate history you can bolt on. The Natas Kaupas Reissues Hardline roll in a clean white urethane with bold, remastered Jim Phillips panther graphics—an unmistakable nod to Santa Monica–born pioneer Natas and the late-’80s Santa Cruz art that sparked so many board graphics. The Hardline profile features a wide road surface and a firm, squared lip with a conical cut, giving you locked-in control on coping and crisp slides on ledges from Pasadena curbs to Claremont park blocks.

Poured in high-rebound urethane at 54mm / 95a, these strike the sweet spot for rough LA asphalt and smooth parks alike—fast and forgiving with just enough give to quiet the chatter on busted San Gabriel Valley sidewalks. Contact patch comes in at 24.4mm with an overall width of 34.5mm, so you get stability without feeling sluggish. Sold as a set of four wheels.

About Natas: Widely credited as one of the original architects of modern street skating, Natas Kaupas came up in Santa Monica’s Dogtown scene riding for Santa Monica Airlines (SMA) and later Santa Cruz. His video parts in the late ’80s—paired with landmark photos and covers—pushed flatground and urban terrain forward with wallrides, curb and rail innovation, and his namesake Natas Spin on a fire hydrant. Off the board, he’s been a prolific designer and art director, helping shape the visual language of skateboarding for decades. These wheels celebrate that legacy with artwork pulled from the era that defined him.

Born under the NHS umbrella in the mid-’80s, Slime Balls helped define street and pool skating with loud art and durable urethane. Reissuing the Natas series isn’t just nostalgia—it’s a rideable archive piece that still holds up on modern setups from Los Angeles County to anywhere your push takes you.
