Santa Cruz Deck Team Screaming Hand White (8.25)
On a crisp white bottom ply, Jim Phillips’ iconic Screaming Hand lunges across the board in electric blue—red tongue out, teeth bared, tendons fraying at the wrist with a small SANTA CRUZ hit tucked under the jaw. The graphic sits slightly off-center so it reads in motion; thin black keylines, halftone shading, and that classic red/blue/black palette make it pop from tail to nose. It’s loud without trying, the kind of deck you’ll spot rolling across Old Town Pasadena brick or cutting through the long, mellow curbs off Huntington.
Built for daily destruction: 7-ply North American maple, individually pressed with epoxy for a stronger, more responsive deck and long-lasting pop, finished in Santa Cruz’s signature matte clear. Size details are dialed for all-around street: 8.25" x 31.8", 14.1875" wheelbase, 6.8023" nose, 6.6108" tail, with medium concave that locks your feet without feeling boxy—perfect for quick flicks, bank-to-ledge control, and stable landings on rough SGV pavement.
Santa Cruz has been shaping skateboarding since 1973, and the Screaming Hand—drawn by Jim Phillips in the ’80s—remains one of skating’s most recognizable marks. This Team model keeps that legacy intact while giving you a modern, press-tight ride that’s right at home from Monrovia sessions to campus laps in Claremont.
