Independent Trucks 149 Stage 11 Hollow Braden Hoban Standard Transparent Black delivers pro-level performance with a personalized touch from one of skateboarding’s fastest-rising talents. This Braden Hoban pro model features a laser-engraved van graphic—a nod to the endless skate trips and rail hunts that fuel his skating—paired with his name etched on the hanger for a signature finish. The clear flat hanger sits atop a flat black fine-textured baseplate, accented with silver hardware and vivid orange cushions, plus a custom team van punk pin keychain hangtag for that extra collector’s detail.

Built on the Stage XI Hollow platform, these trucks offer the same legendary turn and grind feel Independent is known for, but at 7% lighter weight thanks to a hollow chromoly axle and hollow kingpin. Standing at 55mm tall, they’re dialed for optimal performance and wheel clearance on setups running 56mm wheels or smaller. The A356 T6 aluminum hanger and baseplate are heat-treated for maximum strength, durability, and superior grind feel, while the hollow chromoly components keep things light without sacrificing toughness.

Independent has been Built to Grind since 1978, earning their reputation as the gold standard for skate trucks through decades of innovation and rider feedback. Braden Hoban, hailing from Vista, California, has quickly made his mark in modern street skating with heavy, high-speed rails, massive gaps, and the ability to keep style intact under high-pressure lines. This pro truck is a reflection of his commitment to going big without compromise.
