The Heroin Deck Team Mutate Or Die (8.7) is a full-on blast of graphic chaos and mutant energy, straight from the cracked-out mind of Fos—artist, founder, and keeper of Heroin Skateboards’ twisted flame. With radioactive blue and green veneer covered in the ominously iconic spray-painted phrase "Mutate or Die" in bold pink graffiti, this deck isn’t whispering anything—it’s yelling. The type of board that dares you to not evolve your skate game. Loud, weird, and brutally honest—just like the skating it’s meant for.

Measuring 8.7" x 31.75" with a 14.125” wheelbase, it’s got that wider shape Heroin’s known for—giving more surface area for crusty ditch rides, fat curb slaps, or heavy-duty wallrides. Mellow concave and crafted from 7-ply North American hard rock maple, this thing is built to survive, even if you're not. It also includes one sheet of black grip, so you're ready to mutate the second it leaves the shop.

Heroin Skateboards was born in the UK in 1998, a rebellious brainchild of Mark “Fos” Foster—an artist/skater hybrid who injected a much-needed dose of DIY punk weirdness back into skating. The name “Heroin” wasn’t picked to shock; it was Fos’s metaphor for addiction—to skating. Since then, the brand’s built a loyal cult following for its graphics, off-kilter shapes, and killer video projects. The “Mutate or Die” deck shares its title with the next full-length Heroin Skateboards video, making this board part of a larger narrative that ties together graphics, skating, and underground art like only Heroin can.

Whether you’re sessioning curb islands off Route 66, blasting wallies in the Monrovia wash, or creeping alley gaps in South Pas, this deck feels right at home in the cracked sidewalks and alleyways of Southern California.

Stix SGV has proudly served the San Gabriel Valley skateboarding community since the late ‘90s. With three locations across Los Angeles County, we’ve been deeply rooted in the local scene. Our Monrovia shop has been a staple since 1997, followed by our Claremont location in 2014, and our South Pasadena shop opening its doors in 2022. Our mission has always been simple: to uphold skateboarding culture and stay true to our community.
