The Creature Deck Willis Kimbel Deep Dive Pro (9.0) is built for full-speed lines, pool coping, and hillside bombs—exactly how Willis skates. The trippy “Deep Dive” graphic, inked by Violet Aveline, erupts across the bottom like bioluminescence in motion, while the black/green top ply nods to Creature’s classic horror palette. Sized at 9" x 33" with a 15" wheelbase, it’s a proper shape for bigger feet, transition confidence, and cruiser-stable street setups—perfect for blasting around local parks from Arroyo bowls to the Claremont park’s deep end.

Creature’s roots run back under the NHS family to the mid-’90s—known for heavy shapes, gnarly art, and a team that actually skates the scary stuff. Willis Kimbel, raised in a Pacific Northwest skate lineage (think big transitions, DIY, and speed), brought that energy to Creature with technical power and stylish and fast lines. This pro model honors that lineage in a deck that feels planted yet lively.

Construction is straight workhorse: 7-ply North American maple, pressed individually with epoxy for stronger glue lines, crisp pop, and consistent shape retention. Creature’s VET concave keeps things confidence-locking without feeling restrictive, and the DL-34 shape gives a roomy platform with a 7" nose and 6.75" tail that still snaps quick. You’ll notice the extra stability pushing long blocks in Pasadena or carving the snake run in Upland—then the board comes alive the moment you set your feet for a frontside grind.
