The Black Label Deck Wade Speyer Eagle Plaid (8.75) is a bold, battle-ready shape that pays tribute to one of the most no-nonsense, blue-collar legends in skateboarding. Featuring a standard cut shape with dimensions of 8.75” x 32.78” and a 14.75” wheelbase, this deck is built for real terrain—think crusty ditches, gritty banks, and backyard ramps. Crafted from 7-ply hardwood maple laminate, the construction is solid and responsive, exactly what you'd expect from a board bearing Speyer’s name. The bottom graphic combines Black Label’s flame logo with an eagle-and-chain graphic nodding to classic heavy metal iconography, all laid over a plaid pattern that hints at the flannel-covered NorCal roots Wade came from.

Wade Speyer is a certified lifer—a bulldozer on wheels who made his mark during the DIY-laced '90s with powerhouse parts in early Santa Cruz and Think videos, and unforgettable appearances in Thrasher’s "Skate Rock" and “Burning Bridges.” He was inducted into the Skateboarding Hall of Fame, not because he wanted it—but because the culture knew it had to happen. Whether it was charging through full-speed lipslides on kinked rails or slashing massive trannies with no regard for safety, Speyer skated like he had something to prove—and proved it, every damn time.

Black Label, founded in 1988 by John Lucero, has always been for the misfits, the lifers, and the ones who never quit. Lucero’s art-forward and punk-fueled company has consistently supported skaters with grit and originality—Wade being a perfect embodiment of both. And like everything Black Label does, this deck comes correct with assorted top stains, a special edition Skateboarding Hall of Fame commemorative sticker, and a legacy you can ride.
