The Black Label Deck Team Shredded Barcode (8.25) hits with punk rock defiance and a not-so-subtle message: Never Be Bought, Never Be Sold. Built on a standard cut shape, this deck measures 8.25" x 32.12" with a 14.25" wheelbase, offering a sweet spot for versatility whether you're threading lines through schoolyard banks or locking into ledges behind the corner store. Constructed from 7-ply hardwood maple laminate, it's as durable as the attitude behind it—finished with assorted top and bottom stains, so no two setups look exactly the same.
That shredded barcode graphic screams anti-corporate ethos, a theme deeply embedded in the roots of Black Label, a brand founded by John Lucero in 1988 after leaving Santa Cruz. Black Label's mission from the jump was about raw style, hard skating, and flipping off the mainstream, not fitting in with it. That kind of energy has always resonated throughout Los Angeles County, and especially around the San Gabriel Valley, where skating's never been about doing it for the ‘Gram—it’s about respect earned the hard way.
Stix SGV has proudly served the San Gabriel Valley skateboarding community since the late ‘90s. With three locations across Los Angeles County, we’ve been deeply rooted in the local scene. Our Monrovia shop has been a staple since 1997, followed by our Claremont location in 2014, and our South Pasadena shop opening its doors in 2022. Our mission has always been simple: to uphold skateboarding culture and stay true to our community.
