Black Label Deck Patrick Ryan Sick Dog (8.5)
Turn up the heat with the Patrick Ryan “Sick Dog” pro model—an 8.5 that’s built to charge our local parks and DIYs from Rosemead to Pomona. The deck rides lively and stable thanks to a 32.38" length and a 14.5" wheelbase in a Standard Cut shape, pressed in a 7-ply hardwood maple laminate construction. Top and bottom wood stains vary, so each one that hits our wall is a little different—just like the lines you’ll draw on it.
Patrick Ryan hails from Fullerton, California, and his skating shows it—fast, explosive, and comfortable in bowls and big transitions. If you’ve seen him in the park contest circuit, you know the deal: speed, control, and style to spare.
Black Label has been fanning the flames since the late ’80s—founded by John Lucero and rooted in a raw, DIY ethos that helped define modern street and transition skating. From Lucero Skateboards (1988) to today’s Black Label, the brand’s commitment to riders and real skateboarding hasn’t wavered.
Specs you care about: 8.5" x 32.38", 14.5" WB, Standard Cut shape, 7-ply hardwood maple laminate, assorted top/bottom stains.
Stix SGV has proudly served the San Gabriel Valley skateboarding community since the late ‘90s. With three locations across Los Angeles County, we’ve been deeply rooted in the local scene. Our Monrovia shop has been a staple since 1997, followed by our Claremont location in 2014, and our South Pasadena shop opening its doors in 2022. Our mission has always been simple: to uphold skateboarding culture and stay true to our community.
