The Black Label John Lucero Street Thing (9.88") is a heavy-hitting shape designed for those who ride with power, style, and zero concern for the status quo. With a width of 9.88" and a length of 32.25", this deck delivers a massive, stable platform underfoot, perfect for deep carves, pool coping slaps, and curb destruction. The 14.5" or 15" wheelbase (thanks to double-drilled holes) gives you options—tight and responsive or stretched out and surfy.

The custom shape is unmistakably Lucero: fat nose, flared rails, and a blunted tail for locking in every wallride, pivot, or power slide. The artwork, also by Lucero, screams retro rebellion, with a trippy smiley face, peace sign, and fire-tipped tribal flames blazing down the graphic. Like all true Black Label builds, each deck features assorted top and bottom stains, giving every board its own unique vibe.

Black Label Skateboards, founded in 1988 by John Lucero, is one of skateboarding’s last standing pillars of independence. The label carved its legacy during skateboarding’s grimiest, most creative era. Known for pushing punk rock graphics and sticking with core skateboarding through every wave of commercialism, Lucero and Black Label have always flown the middle finger high to trends.

The Street Thing 9.88 is not just a deck—it’s a piece of defiant skate history, brought to life through 7-ply hardwood maple and decades of anti-corporate grit. Built for charging crust, slamming steel, or just rolling loud with old-school swagger, this board is a true legacy shape that keeps Black Label's fire burning strong.
