Black Label Deck Jason Adams Punk Baby 2 Custom Egg Shape (9.5)
Wild and unmistakably Jason Adams—the Punk Baby 2 lays a turquoise bottom ply under a gnarly photo-collage doll: scuffed face, bright blue hair, and a chopped rainbow tee cinched with a punk-style neck strap. A hot-pink Black Label flame floats at the nose; at the tail, a circular seal frames the rear truck holes and a small credit reads “Jason Adams Punk Baby 2.” Flip it over to an assorted magenta top stain stamped with the classic Black Label “since 1988” emblem—each deck veneer hits a little different, so yours feels one-of-one the moment you grip it.
This is Black Label’s Custom Egg—a full, rounded silhouette that rides stable yet turns quick. Dimensions: 9.5" x 32.2" with a 14.5" wheelbase, pressed in 7-ply hardwood maple laminate for a solid, lively snap. The egged outline gives you more platform for fast set-ups, pocketed foot placement, and forgiving landings—perfect for carving SGV ditches, charging pool coping, or cruising those long, mellow blocks between Monrovia sessions and South Pas night lines.
Founded by John Lucero in 1988, Black Label has always championed DIY attitude, raw graphics, and wood built to be skated—not babied. Jason Adams—the “Street Pirate” himself—has been a torchbearer of that ethos for three decades: fast, creative lines, wall-rides on anything, and artwork that splices punk flyers with garage-art grit. This graphic continues that heritage in the loudest, most lovable way.
Stix SGV has proudly served the San Gabriel Valley skateboarding community since the late ‘90s. With three locations across Los Angeles County, we’ve been deeply rooted in the local scene. Our Monrovia shop has been a staple since 1997, followed by our Claremont location in 2014, and our South Pasadena shop opening its doors in 2022. Our mission has always been simple: to uphold skateboarding culture and stay true to our community.
