The Baker Deck Justin Figgy Figueroa Head On Collision (8.25) taps into that wild, chaotic energy that’s made Figgy a household name in gnarly terrain. Featuring a graphic of five mini Etch A Sketch-style frames stacked vertically—each one filled with a playful, surreal drawing, including a cow, boxing gloves, and Figgy’s own name—it’s a nod to creativity, destruction, and full-speed skating. The deck comes pressed with a yellow stained veneer and pearlized ink detailing, giving it a vivid, almost toy-like nostalgia while still built to handle full send. It measures 8.25” wide by 31.875” long, with a 14.25” wheelbase, ideal for skaters who want responsiveness on ledges but stability when things get sketchy. This one’s a true balance of art and annihilation.
As with all Baker decks, you’re getting 7-ply North American maple, individually pressed for consistency and long-lasting pop. Baker Skateboards, founded in 2000 by Andrew Reynolds, became the defining voice of raw street skating in the early 2000s with the launch of Baker Bootleg and Baker 2G. Born out of the Piss Drunx subculture and grounded in DIY grit, Baker became a rebellion against the polished mainstream image of skating at the time.
Justin “Figgy” Figueroa, originally from Orange County, emerged as a modern-day rail barbarian with video parts for Baker, Emerica, and Deathwish that defined the “huck and survive” mentality. From hammer parts in Stay Gold to that unforgettable ender in Made Chapter 2, Figgy’s skating is pure chaos management. And it’s not just brute force—he’s got flick, speed, and one of the best backside 50-50s in the game. Decks like the Head On Collision capture that playful, unpredictable energy he brings to every spot—whether it’s a crusty Inland Empire rail or a deep pool somewhere off the 210.
